As a SAHM, I have free time to join online promos. One of them was the #MegBondingMadeBetter with #SmartAt20 sponsored by Meg Magazine and Smart Communications, Inc. The contest was simple because I only need to fill up the online form and upload a barkada bonding photo on Instagram. The promo duration was February 22 - March 24, 2014 so I totally forgot about it.

I received a text message on my Smart number that I won from this contest and that I need to reply so that she’ll call me. At first, I was hesitant and doubtful if it is true because of the rampant text scam that I received on a daily basis. But then when their PR called and told me it’s true that I really won and told me to even check it at http://iammeg.ph/smart-promo/, I jumped for joy and was really ecstatic about it! I was like floating in the air and felt that it was unreal!
Days passed by…
Waited for the prizes to arrive since I’m from the province, they will ship it at the address I provided at sign up.

Received the iPhone 5C! So happy to finally own an Apple gadget coz my family is a Samsung lover!
I was expecting the 50K shopping spree Gift Certificates to be included on this package so we can buy school needs at that time but their PR texted me that there will be a delay on that particular prize and will update me when it is ok.
Days passed by again and turned into months….
I patiently waited and asked for an update once in a while and thankful that their PR is kind enough to reply on my queries.

Received a total of 8K David’s Salon Gift Cards.
Instead of a makeover it was converted into a gift card worth 8k that will be divided into four. Meaning, me and my friends will have 2K each. The coveted 50K shopping spree GCs was not included on this package either.
So, I patiently waited again since their PR assured me that they are processing the GCs…
