I normally let go and move on from bloggers whom, when i asked for updates regarding the status of the prize i won, ignored me or doesn't reply. Because it means they can't produce the prize and send what you won from them. I'll just forget about it and move on to the next giveaway from generous people. Yeah, i admit, I'm a contest junkie! Who doesn't like free stuffs, right?
Anyway, there's this blogger who had a birthday giveaway on her blog last April and the prize was a Mac lipstick of our choice. Me, being a lippie addict, joined. And to my delight won when the giveaway ended last May 31. I was ecstatic at the blogger's twitter mention notifying me that I'm one of the winners. I've waited for her email as what her tweet said so i can send her my details but days have passed, me and the other winner haven't received any email from her. And though we tweeted for updates, she sometimes ignored us even though she's online and busy joining online contest as well.
We got the email by June 18 asking for our details and told us that she'll send the prize in a week or so. We waited. And now almost 4 months have passed, we asked for updates and when she does find time to answer our tweets, her answer's still the same, "I'll email you tomorrow!" But when you checked, no email received from her. (If you're a contest junkie, it's a routine to check you emails including spam folders regularly).
Today, as of 12:40 am, September 23, 2014, i saw her tweeting and joining giveaways from other bloggers so i tweeted her asking why i haven't received her elusive email yet . And i even told her that she has time to open other blogs and tweet her entries on the contest she's joining. She didn't reply. And after a minute or so noticed that the number of users i followed was reduced by one coz I'm on twitter follow limit of 2,001. When i looked up her twitter profile, i wasn't following her anymore yet i didn't unfollow her. When i clicked the follow button, a pop up says that i was blocked. If you're following someone on twitter and that person blocks you, your account will forcefully unfollow them. Naturally, i got mad coz there's no need to block me. She can just honestly tell me that she won't send it. I won't bother her anymore. No more drama, No hassle. End of story. Moving on. But she always, as in always answered that she'll email and explain, that's what pisses me off.
I've confronted her using another twitter account yet she denies that she haven't blocked me and that she sent the email last week. Lies! All lies! I wasn't born yesterday. Anyway, I'm done. Such a hassle for a mere Mac lippie. If she just told me months ago to just forget about it, then i wouldn't be ranting about this now! She loves joining contest, too! I do hope she won't experience what we experienced from her.
